ESBE INVESTS IN 700 SQM SOLAR PANELS

ESBE’s sustainability work is progressing, and our green electricity is increasing!
As early as 2016, we invested and collaborated with E-Kraft and other local stakeholders in the construction of two wind turbines a few kilometers northeast of Reftele. The goal of our share is to contribute to making the operations of our unit in Reftele climate neutral.

NOW, at the beginning year 2021/2022, we will start up the approximately 700 sqm of solar panels, that we installed on our new extension. We estimate that the panels will produce just over 128,000 kWh of electricity per year.

This means that we enter 2022 with the opportunity to run our production with approximately 50 % self-produced, green electricity.
