HIGH CONTROL PERFORMANCE, STABILITY, AND SPEED - THE ESBE UPTT500 IS THE PERFECT CHOICE FOR YOU

2024-08-13

Thermostatic valves with a high Kvs value are large and expensive. Now we are launching a solution where instead of a large valve we have combined two of the best thermostatic valves we have, VTA520 = UPTT500. Or as our nick name for the product “Tango” implies. It takes two to tango!

With the two parallel-connected thermostatic valves, we achieve good performance at both high and low flows compared to a large single thermostatic valve. This makes UPTT500 a cost-effective way to increase capacity in the system, which ultimately results in satisfied customers. In the newly launched UPTT500 series, with ready connections, the valves have the same dimensions, flow pattern, and external 1" thread. We release the product series with two different temperature ranges: VTA522 (2x), 45-65°C and VTA522 (2x), 50-75°C. Kvs for these products, which are based on VTA520, is 6.1, says Per-Johan Brodén, responsible product manager for the new product series.

Can a UPTT500 be suitable in large properties?

-    Very good solution says Per-Johan. When it comes to multi-family buildings, for example properties with anything from five to forty apartments where the flow demand varies greatly, the parallel connection creates very good adaptation possibilities and cost-effective solutions. Here, you can also consider changing rooms in sports halls or industrial premises with several showers, campsites, and schools, where central regulation of hot water temperature is the most common solution.

-    We recognized a need, and we're excited to present an ESBE solution! Instead of using a single large valve, we've combined two of our best thermostatic valves (ESBE series VTA520), interjects Jouni Kallio, Sales Trade Sweden. He's looking forward to the big launch in August.

Double Kvs!

-    Per-Johan explains how valves in the VTA series handle large flows and demands, making them highly cost-effective. However, they also deliver precise control even at low flows. With the UPTT's two parallel-connected thermostatic valves, even greater accuracy is achieved with stable regulation at lower flows. Within the specified range, regulation remains within +/- 4 degrees, even with sudden pressure changes or fluctuations in incoming temperatures.

Flexible and Easy to Install

The UPTT offers flexibility for various solutions, both functionally and cost-effectively. The valves are ideal for applications like hot water mixing valves in changing rooms with multiple showers and sinks. Plumbers can easily and quickly install the UPTT500 thermostatic mixing valve in the relevant equipment room.

Safety First

Scalding protection is a top priority, and the valve is designed to automatically shut off the hot water supply if the cold-water supply stops. This critical safety feature provides peace of mind.
