PETER CERNY NOMINATED FOR CEO OF THE YEAR

The purpose of the Great CEO Award is to recognize and honor role models among Sweden's CEOs in mid-sized companies. By highlighting value-driven leadership, the award aims to promote a more long-term, sustainable business community. 
This great nomination is a testament to the dedicated work Peter has put into leading ESBE.

Peter Cerny has developed ESBE into a leading international family-owned company in energy-efficient control valves. He has fostered a culture characterized by participation and technical curiosity, while more than doubling turnover since 2019, maintaining an operating margin of over 25 percent. Under his leadership, ESBE has been named one of 'Sweden’s Best Managed Companies' for six consecutive years. The jury emphasizes his enduring leadership and his ability to deliver both profitability and social benefit.

The nomination for the Great CEO Award 2025 is strong proof that ESBE is a well-managed company in every sense, which is also underscored by our six consecutive "Best Managed Company" awards. It shows that the hard work of Peter and the entire organization has led to a company that is both well-managed and profitable. This confirms our vision that sustainable and responsible business practices are the key to long-term success.
The award is presented by the magazine VD-tidningen. The winner of the Great CEO Award of Sweden, 2025 will be announced at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm on October 1st.
