The Vision Days event at ESBE is complete, and what an inspiring occasion it was! Our meeting place,” Träffpunkten” (The Meeting Point), was filled to the brim with engaged participants from across the local area, as well as long-distance guests.
It was clear that Vision Days addressed a central issue for our region's future – Attractiveness! This is a topic ESBE is passionate about, one that permeates our daily work.
Jörgen Thelin and Amanda Frödeberg from ESBE shared their well-founded strategies for building a thriving company culture, developing engaging leadership, and actively contributing to the green transition. By highlighting these areas, they demonstrated how they build their appeal, both as an employer and a community stakeholder - factors that are crucial for the region’s success.

Jeanette Forsberg from Sparbanken Tranemo (pictured on the right) was happy to be there, stating: "When you work in an office all day like I do, it's really fun to meet so many people!
I love it!"

Inspiring speakers and anecdotes from the sea

Many were likely curious to visit ESBE, but the day also offered a true highlight with the speaker and sailor, Gurra Krantz. He delivered a witty and thought-provoking lecture, sharing anecdotes from his experiences at sea, both classic and those fresh off his latest Atlantic crossing! These stories drew many parallels to the very topics that were the focus of the day, illustrating the importance of teamwork and daring to aim high.
Gurra mentioned that his most important guiding principles "Trust, Respect, and Confidence" are vital, regardless of one's visions and goals. This greatly contributes to an environment where both individuals and regions can thrive and build attractiveness. We also took away his key statement: "Everything comes from everyone giving" a conclusion that summarizes the importance of joint efforts, both aboard a boat and in the work toward the region's future.

Vision Days 2025 – A Week of Focus

ESBE’s event was part of Vision Days 2025, an annual business week in the Gnosjö region that this year took place between September 30th and October 3rd. The goal of the entire week is to strengthen the region's business community through inspiration, networking, and knowledge exchange, with a focus on the theme of Attractiveness.

Networking and Goal Setting – Almi’s Perspective

Vision Days is an important opportunity for regional stakeholders to make new contacts. We asked members of the team from Almi about their goals for the week.
Henrik Laurelli said: "Our goal for this week is to meet as many small business owners as possible!"
His colleague Therése Carlbrant emphasized the importance of visibility in the region to reach out to businesses. "We want to be visible—to make contact with people who don't know that Almi exists and what we can help them with." She then added with a smile: "If more business owners knew that, there would be a queue out on the street!"

The Youth Voice for the Future of Attractiveness

"To build the region's future, it's crucial to understand what drives the next generation." Charlotta Hellström from Business Gnosjöregionen highlighted the importance of involving young people in the discussion about what makes the region attractive to them. This is a very important part of the region's strategy for growth and the future. Therefore, as part of the Vision Day week, panel discussions with young people were also arranged, something Charlotta greatly looked forward to.

Charlotta also took away a piece of wisdom from the sailor Gurra Krantz's lecture: PPR, which stands for Pang På Rödbetan (Straight to the Point)—a motto for clarity in communication (say it like it is).

Vision Days is organized by Business Gnosjöregionen in cooperation with local municipalities, Almi, and businesses in the area. ESBE is proud to have been a part of this important initiative.

Thank you to everyone who came and helped make this event a packed success, together we are building the future of our region!
