ESBE YOUNG TALENT – MEET LINNEA JENSEN AT THE ESBE TECHNOLOGY CENTER

The Anderstorpian (a person from Anderstorp, Reftele’s neighbouring village) Linnea Jensen first came into contact with ESBE during the spring of 2023 when she had an internship at ESBE. During her internship, Linnea's interest in studying further to become an energy engineer was sparked, and in the fall of the same year she began training for this at the University College of Borås.

During here studies, Linnea completed another internship at ESBE and in the spring of 2026 she returned to the ESBE Technology Center for the third time. This time to complete her degree project together with fellow student Felicia Staaf Amour. The project was the last part of their education before they graduated as energy engineers. Here is what Linnea says about her time at ESBE:
”I am very happy about my first stint at ESBE because the company contributed to my choice of education. And then during my studies I had the opportunity to do both an internship and then my degree project with ESBE. It felt very safe and natural to do both the internship and the project there, since I had already worked at the company before.”
 

In their degree project, Linnea and Felicia have carried out a pre study, simulations and sample measurements for a tap water dispenser. Looking back on the work, Linnea sees that it was both more time-consuming and presented a lot of challenges. But overall, Linnea is positive about having completed the project and her internship at ESBE.
” I would recommend ESBE as both an internship and a place for a degree project to people who appreciate challenges and independent work. ESBE provides great opportunities to develop, take personal responsibility and put your theoretical knowledge into practice.”

Now Linnea and Felicia are newly graduated energy engineers from the University College of Borås and we at ESBE wish them the best of luck in their future challenges. And who knows, maybe Linnea or Felicia will return to ESBE once again and join the ESBE Technology Center in the role of energy engineer?
