During a hot day in June, EHPA gathered members from their organizations from all corners of Europe’s heat pump industry. ESBE was one of the invited members to participate in the thought through celebration.
Jörgen Thelin, ESBE Group Sales Manager, was one of the representatives from ESBE at the party and he thinks the work the EHPA is doing is of great importance for EU and Europe’s independence. “Europe has to reduce its dependence on energy import from Russia and the Middle East. It’s basically a question about EU’s independence and self-government.” Jörgen also highlights the impact EHPA’s work has for the climate as well, ”We need to get going with the green energy transition to be able to reach EU’s climate goals.  The EHPA promotes issues that lead to both a more independent and greener Europe. Something I see as central for us all.”
During the celebration Jörgen had the chance to speak with Thomas Nowak, VP Government Relations and Public Affairs at Qvantum, and the Secretary General at EHPA (2009–2024), about the work EHPA is doing and what the future holds for them. See the full interview in the clip right here »

European Heat Pump Association (EHPA) - 25th Anniversary

EHPA has been busy these past 25 years. Advocating for speeding up the market development of heat pumps for heating, cooling and hot water production has gathered around 230 members, in 32 countries across Europe. The members are ranging from manufacturers to utilities and test centres, and together we can help by creating platforms to spread the word of EHPA.
We’re really excited to be part of the future of EHPA and hope that ESBE can be part of the green energy transition.
