We know that major changes require both bold visions and persistent daily work - something we’ve practiced for 120 years! In ESBE's sustainability report for 2025, we share our journey – from long-term goals for future energy systems to actual investments in the transition to lead-free materials and our commitment to a sustainable energy supply.
The report presents our work with full transparency – highlighting both where we are meeting our goals and where challenges remain.
Some highlights from the year:
●   Technical Transition: We have invested in a new transfer machine that enables production in lead-free brass, allowing us to bring more of our manufacturing back home.
●   Own Energy: More than half (52.5%) of our total electricity consumption is generated from our own investments in wind and solar power.
●   Equality in Practice: We continue to break industry norms with a workforce consisting of 52% women.
